She received her BA in Journalism with
a specialization in Advertising and Marketing from
the University of North Texas. While at UNT, she was
captain of the university dance team, president of
the Advertising Association, member of the Dean's
List and the recipient of several writing scholarships
for her essays on food and cultural arts. It was during
her internship at the multi-billion dollar advertising
agency, DDB Needham that she realized her true passion
was the pitch - performing for the executives.
